Street, on the corner of Central Avenue and Main Street, East Hartford.
84 East from Hartford: take Bulkeley Bridge to Connecticut Blvd. (Exit
53). Follow Connecticut Blvd. to traffic light at Main Street, turn
right. Turn left at the next light onto Central Avenue. The Library
parking lot is on the
left.
84 West from Vernon: take Governor Street (Exit 56). Bear right off the
exit onto Governor Street. Go straight through the first traffic light
to Main Street. Turn right. Go two (2) traffic lights; at second light
turn left onto Central Avenue. The Library parking lot is on the left.
Route 2 from Glastonbury: take Pitkin Street (Exit 3). Turn right at
light. Follow Pitkin Street to Main Street. Turn left at the light. Go
under overpass. Go three lights; this includes the first light in front
of the firehouse. At third light turn right onto Central Avenue. Library
parking lot is on the left.
91 South from Windsor: take Exit 30- East Hartford/84 East. Cross
Bulkeley Bridge and take Exit 53, Connecticut Blvd. Follow Connecticut
Blvd. four (4) lights to Main Street. At traffic light take a right.
Turn left at next traffic light onto Central Avenue. Library parking lot
is on the left.
91 North from New Haven: take Exit 25-26 Glastonbury/ Old Wethersfield.
Follow Exit 25 Glastonbury. Cross the Putnam Bridge and follow signs for
East Hartford, Route 2 West. Take Route 2 to Pitkin Street (Exit 3).
Turn right at the light. Follow Pitkin Street to Main Street and turn
left at the light. Go under the overpass; go three (3) lights; this
includes the first light in front of the firehouse. At third light turn
right onto Central Avenue. Library parking lot is on the left.
From Charter
Oak Bridge: take Exit 90. Follow signs for Route 5 North (Main Street).
At the end of the exit, take a left onto Main Street. Go five (5) lights
(this includes the light in front of the firehouse) to Central Avenue.
Turn right onto Central Avenue. Library parking lot is on the left.
